Spa Etiquette

Spa First Timer’s Guide:

  • It is necessary; always necessary to inform the spa personnel whether the visit to the spa is a first time visit.
    • A first time visit to any spa, should include a tour around the spa, for you to take a good look at the spa facilities in order to help you make your decision about your visit to the spa accordingly.
  • The spa personnel may not always be able to book an appointment for you due to prior appointments; however a good spa facility will always make it a point to entitle you to a tour for your satisfaction.
  • You should make a list of all your requirements before taking a tour to a spa, and get all your queries answered on your first visit, as ongoing questions on latter visits about the spa facility may seem rude.
  • All questions should be answered with patience and complete details by the spa personnel on your first visit.
  • Sometimes, it is only natural that a spa first timer will not know all the details about the general spa procedures, regarding which they have to educated about.
  • Find out which spa treatments would be right for you, from massage and facials to spa manicures and pedicures.
  • While booking a spa treatment for a massage or any other body treatment, state your preference for a male therapist or female therapist.
